The following are local and regional nonprofits organizations that share our common mission to connect and educate all of those affected by Eating Disorders.
American Anorexia/Bulimia Society of Philadelphia provides referrals to treatment in the Philadelphia area and hosts a monthly support group. The group can be reached at 215-221-1864 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Binge Eating Disorder Association (BEDA) provides individuals who suffer from binge eating disorder with the recognition and resources they deserve to begin a safe journey toward a healthy recovery. BEDA also serves as a resource for treatment providers to prevent, detect, diagnose, and treat the disorder.

Eating Disorders Coalition (EDC) mission is to advance the federal recognition of eating disorders as a public health priority. ANAD supports the efforts of Eating Disorders Coalition and we encourage all to join their Letter Writing Campaign or join the EDC’s Friends and Family Action Council (FAC). Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee (EDCT) is the Southeast’s first statewide nonprofit to advance eating disorder awareness, education and prevention. Our mission is to offer hope, help and support to all who are impacted by disordered eating.

Eating Disorders Information Gateway is a resource offered by the Eating Recovery Center Foundation that provides a single portal through which the eating disorders community can access a variety of materials to advance public understanding of eating disorders.

Eating Disorders Resource Center (EDRC) mission is to increase awareness and understanding of eating disorders for the general public and for health professionals; to promote early diagnosis, effective treatment, and recovery; and to advocate for mental health parity legislation and effective insurance coverage.
Based in Los Gatos, CA, EDRC is a non-profit organization that links resources, information and support for eating disorders in Silicon Valley. We are here to respond to calls and emails from patients, family members, clinics and health care professionals requesting support and information, treatment options, and help with navigating the health care and insurance systems. We offer an education and outreach program on the early detection and intervention of eating disorders. EDRC facilitates monthly support groups for sufferers and their families and friends.

Missouri Eating Disorders Association mission is to bring hope, compassion and understanding to the fight against eating disorders. MOEDA is committed to providing education, resources and advocacy that will change the conversation around eating disorders. Someday Melissa was founded in 2010 by Judy Avrin following the death of her daughter Melissa to an eating disorder. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Someday Melissa’s mission is to promote recognition and awareness of eating disorders and the importance of early treatment. “Someday Melissa, the story of an eating disorder, loss and hope.”
