I finally agree to go into treatment and I'm finding that all these treatment centers don't take my insurance which is Humana which I have along with Medicare. It's like if you have Medicare they don't want to talk to you, it's like your not good enough, not rich enough for them. It's like these people are supposed to build our self esteem and self worth up not tear us down and reject us because we don't have the right insurance just makes us feel that much worse and makes the ED more intense...I just feel like giving up very depressed and feel hopeless.

That's big step - well done! Sorry to hear you are not getting the financial support you need. Please contact the ANAD office for a list of providers that accept Medicaid.

I hope that you do contact ANAD for referrals... I had a similar problem when I finally decided to get help, but don't give up!! There are places that are willing to work with you and get you the help you need, and now are reaching out for!

Isn't there a local support group you could attend to help you through?
